Cambrils in the south of Catalonia is traditionally a fishing village and today the fishing industry still plays an important role in the Spanish village. Every day at 16.00 there is a fish market where restaurants get their fresh fish. The fresh catch is deliciously prepared back at one of the restaurants in the harbor.
Cambrils has many beautiful beaches, the total length of the sandy beaches is nine kilometers. The beaches are divided into the Playas de Levante and the Playas de Poniente.
Places of interest in Cambrills include Torre del Puerto, Ermita de la Virgen del Camino chapel with the Torre de l'Ermita, Torre de l 'Esquirol, Vilafortuny Castle or strolling in one of the botanical gardens or city parks.
